Room is nice, clean, and well appointed. It's an older hotel and needs renovation. Maintenance is very busy in almost every Room, it seems like every day. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Huge TV was a plus because I brought the PS4. Room was clean, but the bathroom needed painting above the shower because it was beginning to grow...something..... Overall it was nice. Power went out during the night, but I can't fault them because it was city wide. Price is a little steep, but they are only 1 of 2 hotels in town.
I was a vendor at the Watermelon Festival. We stayed here and everything was amazing. If I could give 50 stars I would. Mrs. Patel was great. Very nice and hospitable. The rooms were extremely clean and welcoming. I will def stay here every year. Thank you
Room was cleaned and neat. Bed was nice ,pillows fluffed. Heater/AC unit works really well. The only problem I saw was it looked like old blood stains on the sheet. Will be coming back soon.
This is the right place to go for the Queen’s Cup (annual steeplechase horse race)! Only 30 minutes down back roads to Waxhaw/Mineral Springs), and you don’t have to fight traffic. If you expect a small town hotel experience, complete with the manager who knows your room number and handles electrical issues in the wee hours…you won’t be disappointed. Miss Bela knows all the ins and outs of this place, and keeps on top of it - and her orchids. Other than a minor snafu with Direct TV access, and said electrical issue - mom and I were very pleased with our stay. Coffee is available in the lobby. Fridge has a tiny inset freezer. Beds are comfortable, linens changed daily. Quiet, comfortable, and A/C unit worked well. There are not many locally run hotels in this area, and the staff are great. Try it!
Great location for what I was doing. Yes the rooms are a little dated. The room was clean. The price was very reasonable for the accommodation. I will stay here any time I'm in the area. Friendly people.
Love the fact its a non smoking facility. I am allergic to cigarette and smoke. So i appreciate it nice lady that checked me in. Very professional and will reintegrate the room is no. Smoking. If it were mine I'd do the same so i over stand
I had a very pleasant stay here. Evelene was very helpful and friendly. I had been riding my motorcycle for 6 hours straight when I reached the place. Unfortunately, it turned out that the room I had booked was upstairs. Going up the stairs with my loaded panniers with my riding boots on was to be very difficult. But Miss Evelene was gracious enough to swap my room with another one dow stairs. She had to juggle a few other reservations in order to get me a ground level room. In addition, she also woke up early and made me coffee. She said I was the only one who requested coffee. So basically she woke up at 5.30 just for me. I felt guilty for having requested coffee in the morning. Thank you, Evelene
